DOUR FESTIVAL

 

Created in 1989 by Carlo Di Antonio, the Dour Festival in Belgium is today one of the biggest music events in Europe. For the past two decades, the festival has grown steadily, reaching to a point of over 230,000 attendees for the 2015 edition. Over this time, Dour has cultivated the perfect mix of music, experience and adventure for all of its festival goers.

 

For the 2019 edition, in which Dour Festival will celebrate its 30 years of existence, the festival organizers envision a total redesign of their brand and visual communication. Starting with spray paint and poster board, I created patterns that I used as the basis for the visual identity. From there, I went on to create a logo and the accompanying promotional material.
